Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB) won 7-5 over Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in the Final of the DEKALB Superspiel, held November 1 - 4, 2019 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Walker won 4-3 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2019 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-4 over Theresa Cannon (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Walker finished 3-0 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker defeated Talyia Tober (Winnipeg, MB) 7-1, then won 4-2 against Robertson and 7-3 against Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Walker earned 34.196 world rankings points along with the $8,300CDN first prize cheque. Walker move up 6 spots after posting a net gain of 22.515 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 24th overall with 192.464 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Walker ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 110.695 points earned so far this season.
