Englot finished 4-1 in the 24 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held November 18 - 21, 2016 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Englot lost 6-5 to Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE). Englot won 5-4 against Briane Meilleur (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-5 against Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK) and 6-3 against Birchard in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the DEKALB Superspiel, Englot take home 40.219 world rankings points along with the $6,600CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 13th place overall with 333.393 total points. Englot ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 164.116 points earned so far this season.
