To advance to the championship game, Martin won 6-4 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-5 over Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
Martin finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) 5-4, then won 10-3 against Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) and 7-1 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the DEKALB Superspiel, Martin take home 30.250 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN prize.
