To advance to the championship game, Casper won 5-4 over Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, MN) in the semifinals of the CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships in Blaine, Minnesota, United States; and won 6-0 over Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA) in the quarterfinals. of the CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships in Blaine, Minnesota, United States;

Casper finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Casper defeated Tucker Smith (Sioux Falls, SD) 12-0, then won 7-0 against Connor Kauffman (Blaine, MN) and 7-1 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the CURVE US Open of Curling - Championships Championship title, Casper earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $4,040CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Casper did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 24th to 25th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 160.625 total points. Casper ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.000 points earned so far this season.
