Spencer went on to lose 8-3 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). Spencer lost 7-4 to Ontario's Cathy Auld where Spencer responded with a 6-2 win over Michelle Montford (Winnipeg, MB). Spencer won 5-4 against Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-5 against Harrison in their final qualifying round match.
