Brown responded with a 6-3 win over Allison Flaxey (Listowel, ON). Brown won 6-1 against Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 6.825 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 64th place overall with 15.545 total points. Brown ranks 54th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.575 points earned so far this season.
